About Us

What we do

The 2nd Copythorne (Stanley’s Own) Scouts have been teaching young people skills for life for over a century.

By getting hands on and learning by doing, our Scouts of all ages learn the skills they need for life, be they saving lives, looking after their kit, working in a team or being kind to others.

Our volunteers are the magic ingredient that make it happen. They come from all walks of life and give as much or as little time as they can. Plus they have great fun too and there’s always room for another.
