Explorers

Jump into a world of an adventure of your own choosing. Explorer Scouts are girls and boys aged 14-18 years who want to get the most out of life.

Explorer Scouts work together across the district so they can join any Explorer Scout Unit but one is based right here at Stanley’s Own: Magellan on Wednesday evenings.

Programme

Explorers take the lead in what events they take part in, where in the world they travel to and what skills they become experts in.

From expeditions to international adventures (America, the Gambia and Switzerland to name some recent ones) and smaller adventures closer to home, we’re an active bunch.

Plus our Explorers can help out with the younger sections as a Young Leader.
